Magnetic Vehicle Sign Care
STORING YOUR MAGNETIC VEHICLE SIGN
Keep your sign in a clean, dry place. Store your magnetic sign FLAT with the
graphic side up. Magnetic signs will hold the memory of a curved surface.
If Magnetic is bent or will not lay flat on vehicle surface it will not stay on the
vehicle properly. DO NOT store sign folded or rolled.Avoid stacking heavy items
on your sign that could damage the face, do not stack signs with the magnetic side
facing each other.
PREPARING THE SURFACE FOR APPLICATION OF YOUR MAGNETIC CAR SIGN
Before affixing your magnetic vehicle sign to a metal surface, be sure the surface is clean. Wipe with a soft
cloth and a no abrasive cleaner such as isopropyl (rubbing)alcohol & allow to dry completely. Apply the car
sign to a smooth, flat or gently curved metal surface, make sure the entire sign is flat against
the metal surface. Be aware that long term use on surfaces frequently exposed to sunlight can result in
uneven fading of your vehicles surface as the magnetic vehicle sign protects paint from UV radiation.
CLEANING YOUR MAGNETIC CAR SIGN
To guard against moisture and dirt build up between your sign and your vehicle, it is
recommended that you remove & clean the surface as well as the magnetic car sign daily
to protect fresh clear coat, base coat and vinyl surfaces on new cars, remove the sign daily.
Magnetic signage is recommended for temporary use only.
Custom signs is not responsible for damage caused to vehicles or lost magnetic
vehicle signs due to misuse or not following care instructions above.
